Together with the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Ferragnez is definitely the most talked about wedding of the year. The union between the influencer Chiara Ferragni and the rapper Fedez was celebrated just a few days ago; let’s find out together what the most famous blogger in Italy planned for her bridal look!
THE FERRAGNEZ: THE CEREMONY
Chiara’s romantic gown featured a crochet lace romper with a high neck and three-quarter sleeves which included the historic techniques of Venetian lace. The skirt had a layered tulle with a center-front split. Last, but not least, the shoes were sling back low heels personalized with the phrase ‘J’Adior Chiara’ written in black little diamonds. All of it was designed exclusively for Chiara by Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, who was able to capture perfectly the blogger’s persona: a businesswoman, mother and empowering role model for today’s young women generation.
Makeup and hairstyle were realized by her most trusted glam artist, Manuele Mameli.
Her hair was gathered neatly on the nape, parted in the center with soft strands of hair to frame the face. The hairdo respected the main aim which was to be as natural as possible. The makeup look was realized with Lancôme products, some of which were created solely for Chiara and will be available in stores soon. After prepping the face with a hydrating primer, the MUA created a perfect mix for a soft but solid base with a cushion BB cream, concealer and foundation. The matte base was then brightened with a coral powder blush (Blush Subtil – Sorbet Corail) and a liquid highlighter in the color champagne. All of it was set with a translucent powder and a 24-hour setting spray.
For the eyes, the choice fell on the Hypnôse Palette Matte – Beige-Brule. The eyeshadows were used to create a luminous but very natural look, strengthened with tones of brown. To intensify the eyes the blogger used her favorite mascara: Monsieur Big Waterproof!
Finally, the lipstick, L’Absolu Rouge in color 510 Drama Matte, was created in limited edition and will be sold only after the wedding, making it even more exclusive for Chiara.
THE FERRAGNEZ: THE RECEPTION
For the evening reception, the mood changed into a more extravagant one. Chiara and Fedez recreated a starry night sky in the main room of the wedding banquet and transformed the venue into a Coachella-inspired party, complete with a Ferris wheel and live music.
Chiara then changed into a second dress, also designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, which was very special because it described the newlyweds’ story. The corsage and dusty pink tulle skirt were full of embroideries with symbols that represented Chiara and Fede’s love story. Most of all, the gown had the lyrics of the song Fedez wrote specially to propose to the blogger at the Arena of Verona. With the change of the dress also came a new beauty look. Her hair, was parted to one side behind the ear and let free with soft waves. The makeup was intensified on the eyes by adding darker and more definite tones with the color brown.
